TTC has prepared for the great event of the Cuban tourist industry a special edition that will be presented together with the Caribbean Operators Book (COB) 2019-2020, Cuba Monograph, a tourist directory focused on offering professionals useful information about the Caribbean country.
As the central theme of the issue we propose an exclusive interview with the Minister of Tourism delegate in the Cuban capital, Xonia Beltrán, who offers details about the city as a tourist plaza, its main issuing markets, actions for its half century, among other topics of interest.
The edition is also honored with an interview with Ricard Zapatero, CEO of Fira Barcelona International, who comments on the work of this platform, consolidated as one of the best in Europe for major industry meetings, with a view to promoting the holding of fairs in Cuba.
There are also the firsthand statements of the General Director of Globalia’s Cuba Be Live Hotels Division, Javier Fernández Ruiz, who gives an update on the work of the company in the destination.
Of special relevance is an article that reflects the facilities for events in the country, with special emphasis on the different destinations’ hotels, where small- and medium-format rooms with the necessary technology, party rooms and a wide diversity of options are available.
It is worth noting that the TTC issue dedicated to the fair will be distributed by hand, as courtesy, to the participating professionals and the general public.
In addition, TTC will issue a special daily e-bulletin, which will report on the main novelties of the fair and will be distributed to more than 100,000 professional contacts of the international tourist sector.
The FITCuba 2019 International Tourism Fair will be held from May 6 to 11, with Havana as its venue. Spain will be the country guest of honor and events and incentives tourism the main modality.
Both the special edition and the COB will be presented days later at the International Fair for restaurants, hotels and tourist services, Hostelcuba 2019, which will take place from May 28 to 30 at the capital’s Pabexpo fairgrounds.
