Until now, Wi-Fi played a very important part during the Covid-19 pandemic.

That role could become crucial in the opening up and recovery of tourism and especially  for the hotel industry.

The epidemic that plagued the world since the beginning of 2020 and only now begins to recede thanks to the action of vaccines  would have isolated millions more people without the Internet existence.

The digital network that began as just another means of communication has solved big problems during the pandemic

Wifi is  yet facilitating worldwide the dissemination of health protection measures and facilitate virtual purchases of food and essential goods without crowds causing infections.

At very difficult times in the spread of Covid-19 a large number of companies and businesses of all ranges and objectives around the world sent their employees home armed with computers to maintain their work in confinment.

Now when tourism industry is cautiously entering in a recovery stage Wi-Fi could continue to fulfill essential tasks.

Specialists estimate that in an initial reopening and even when stable normality will return  hotels of all categories including of the most luxurious chains would need new programs that have a fundamental concept, the so-called “reinvention”.

For an individual “reinventing himself” could be a laborious process.

For universal tourism sector and its most necessary instruments such as the hotel industry, it has to be agile and successful to enter in a new era.

Analysts assure that the Internet allows flexible solutions in the attention to guests who already demand new qualities from their hosts.

This tool with increasingly popular means  is already (to cite just one example) the mandatory start of any travel plan, be it work or vacation.

Internet  can act as a means of discovering by hotels and lodgings what they can do to attract and satisfy their customers not only in comfort but also in measures for health and other needs.

Probably the jobs that are currently done from home in order to respect the confinements will survive in some way.

That reality  could  lead to accommodation of all kinds to facilitate that link from vacation to work.

New technologies are already part of present day plans of hotel firms, especially the largest ones that had already started the path of making their services  smart.

Experts consider that at the moment the global demand for travel is increasing cautiously.

This summer the tourism industry “begins to move” step by step..

Could be indeed this is a good time for “reinvention”.
