As usual, our publication is presenting a special edition with news about tourism in the Caribbean for the World Travel Market in London to be held in the UK capital from November 4 to 6.
An interview with Cuban Ministry of Tourism Director of Marketing Bárbara Cruz Rodríguez appears as the central theme and gives an overview of the industry in the Caribbean destination.
The edition reflects the performance of tourist arrivals in the Caribbean so far this year, as well as developments related to hotel chains that operate in the region, and the opening of air routes.
TTC is also celebrating the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana, capital of Cuba, with a special article about the city, its history, culture, attractions and main facilities for tourism.
In addition, a space is dedicated to intelligent destinations, a trend that marks the evolution of tourist destinations around the world.
The edition dedicated to WTM will be distributed by courtesy to professionals and the public in general and will be available at the fair’s Cuba stand along with our Caribbean Operators Book Monograph Cuba directory.
This last product consists of two parts: a mini-guide of Cuba in Spanish and English and a directory. The mini-guide features general information about Cuba and its main tourist destinations, organized by geographic regions and provinces.
The directory collects around 1,500 references of sites of interest essentially for tourism professionals (organized by provinces), with their addresses, telephone numbers, emails, websites and/or social media. It is structured by chapters: Banks, Entities, Foreign hotel companies, Airports, Air cargo, Airlines, Marinas and nautical bases, Diving centers, Convention centers, Travel agencies and tour operators, Hotels and Land transportation.
