An exclusive interview with Cuban Minister of Tourism Manuel Marrero, with the perspectives and strategies of the industry, privileges our edition dedicated to Cuban tourism’s major event, being held May 2-5 in the Cays of Santa María destination.
In general, the publication will offer an updated panorama about the sector in the Caribbean country: standing out among the subjects developed are the advances in foreign investment, hotel openings, a balance of the foreign chains present in the sector, details about the principal modalities like sun and beach – to which FITCuba 2018 is dedicated – and circuits, among other novelties related to airline operations, offers by tour operators and travel agencies, among other information.
Moreover, the fair will serve as context for the launching of the Caribbean Operators Book-Cuba Monograph, a tourist directory that circulates throughout the year and is distributed by courtesy in all tourism and business events and fairs in the world where TTC participates.
With a print run of 10,000 copies, it has 108 pages and basically comprises two parts: Mini guide book of Cuba in Spanish, Italian and English and the directory itself.
The mini guide book offers general information about Cuba and its principal tourist destinations, organized by geographic regions and provinces.
The directory collects, in chapters, around 1,500 references of interest essentially for tourism professionals (organized by provinces), with their addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, websites and/or social media.
Both publications will be distributed by courtesy during FITCuba 2018, thus becoming another means to promote the destination, which is among the favorites in the Caribbean.
