Panama: First Metro in Central America

Panama City.- A subway in Panama, the first service in Central America of that kind, has 13.7 kilometers, of which 7.5 would be underground, 4.9 elevated and 1.5 higher in trenches.

New Air Control Centers in Punta Cana and Santo Domingo

  Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic).- In early March, the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC) announced that it is only waiting for the inaugural ceremony for the new Air Traffic Control Centers to start operating in Las Américas International Airport (AILA, Santo Domingo) and in the Punta Cana air terminal.
