Partnerships for Sustainable conference started in Jamaica

Montego Bay.- November 27 is the first day of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Government of Jamaica, World Bank Group and Inter-American Development Bank Global Conference on Jobs and Inclusive Growth: Partnerships for Sustainable at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) are sponsors of the day’s activities.

Several highly-anticipated papers will be delivered by eminent tourism luminaries, including world renowned tourism expert, Professor Eduardo Fayos-Solà. He will deliver a paper on “The Future of Tourism in the Caribbean Region” that will be followed by a roundtable discussion incorporating major players in Caribbean Tourism, including Hon. Dionisio D’Aguilar, Bahamas Tourism and Aviation Minister and Chairman, CTO; and Karolin Troubetzkoy, President, CHTA.
