Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas, with a capacity of 2,350 guests, will begin sailing out of Port Tampa Bay this summer, according to a news release. It replaces Empress of the Seas, which carried 1,602 guests during its cruises last summer.
“Cruising remains the easiest way to visit Cuba, and we hope to make it that much easier for adventure seekers to experience the legendary island,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. Royal Caribbean will offer four- and five-night cruises to Havana from April until October, including day and overnight stays.
During the winter, Royal Caribbean operates cruises out of Tampa on Brilliance of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas.
