Health tourism agreement in Dominican Republic
Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s biggest medical complex (Cedimat) and Pawa Dominicana airline signed an agreement about health tourism with representatives from Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and Anguilla.

The agreement backed by the Marriott hotel chain and the Dominican Tourism Ministry, will promote health tourism in the country jointly, to meet the high demand for health services in the West Indies.

“The agreement aims to offer a new alternative for patients throughout the Caribbean who fly Pawa, who require health services outside their countries, including tests, surgeries and checkups, while opening the doors of Republic Dominican to a potential of more than 20 million tourists market”, a report fromo Dominican Today digital page said.
