"La Academia Iberoamericana de Gastronomía" signed a collaboration agreement with MITM Events

The president of the “Academia Iberoamericana de Gastronomía”, Rafael Ansón and Charo Trabado, CEO, RMP & Co-founder of GSAR Marketing| MITM Events have signed this Monday a collaboration agreement to boost and develop the scope of the Iberoamerican culture and gastronomy. This will be achieved through the celebration of CULTOURFAIR in the frame of the celebration of the “Capitales Iberoamericanas de la Cultura Gastronómica”.

With this agreement, that both institutions signed with the fundamental objective of boosting the promotion of Iberoamerican destinations, in gastro-cultural and touristic terms. As this year Madrid is the Iberoamerican Capital of Gastronomical Culture, it will be the ideal venue to host CULTOURFAIR 2020.

During the signing of this agreement Rafael Ansón mentioned that “a trade show such as CULTOURFAIR, the only in the world specialized in cultural tourism and exclusively aimed at professionals, is the ideal scenario to proclaim that gastronomy is culture and an essential element in tourism”.

Furthermore, he highlighted that “this agreement is the starting point to develop this and other cultural, gastronomic and touristic promotional events in the future Capitalidades Iberoamericanas de la Cultura Gastronómica”.

On behalf of MITM, Charo Trabado expressed: “For MITM Events its and honor to sign this agreement with AIGB to continue with the promotion and disseminations of the Iberoamerican culture throughout the world as we have been doing for the past 30 years”.

The “Academia Iberoamericana de Gastronomía” promotes the investigation, disseminations and protection of native gastronomy of the different regions and towns of Iberoamerica; the dissemination of their manifestations; the conservation of their traditions; support to the modernizing of their techniques; and consideration of new gastro-dietary proposals, making known the most relevant characteristics of the Iberoamerican gastronomy and culture.
