Hunters & Frankau, the regional distributor of Cuban cigars for the UK, has a stock aging for decades.

These old Havana cigars have been released in what Hunters calls their House Reserve Aged & Rare show.

In addition to the 10 or even 20-year-old cigars, the program also includes the first releases of Cuban cigars, discontinuous lines, Limited Editions, Regional Editions and Large Reserves.

According to the company, each cigar has been checked by “fully trained technicians from Habanos S.A.” at the Hunters & Frankau UK warehouse before a box from the House Reserve Aged & Rare collection is released. A secondary band and box marks indicate the age of the cigar.

Legitimate cigars, read as made in Cuba, are attractive not only for smokers but also for tourists who tend to “smoke” for the first time on visits to Cuba but also visit Havana every year during the Havana Festival, a prominent cultural event. which is usually also musical and historical.

Unsurprisingly, aged cigars are not cheap. A case of 25 Cohiba Esplendidos from 2001, for example, is priced at £ 3,299 (about $ 4,279).
