Havana.- Varadero Beach, a paradise of sun and sea 130 kilometers east from Havana, announced the Fifth Varadero Gourmet International Festival thath will take place June 19-21.

San Salvador.- El Salvador was named today as the destination for the 7th Routes Americas event, which will take place in early 2014. Jose Napoleon Duarte, Tourism Minister, signed the agreement during a signing ceremony which took place at FITUR in Madrid last week.

Madrid.- The stands of Dominican Republic at the International Tourism Fair FITUR 2013, was named as one of the better at the event which runs through Feb. 3 at Feria de Madrid.

Madrid.- Cuba exhibited novelties in the national tourism sector in FITUR 2013 like new facilities and services, management and design of trademarks from the improvement of the hotel industry, and revision of standards and the constant adjustment to international trends, a Cuba press source said.

Madrid.- The Secretary of Tourism, Claudia Ruiz Massieu participated in the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur) because the fair is considered one of the leading business forums in the tourism industry, the official said.

Nassau.- The Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Nassau marks the meeting of suppliers, attractions, destinations, tourist boards and stakeholders in the Caribbean’s tourism sector both private and public.
