Cuban Tourism Grows in 2012

Cuban Tourism Grows in spite of the  world crisis, according to the Cuba Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, who affirmed in Havana that this year Cuba will receive 2.85, representing 4.9 percent of growth compared to 2011.

The number is three million for 2013.  The Minister added that despite the fierce global economic and financial crisis that also  affects Cuba, the tourism industry here shows significant growth and strategies for future increases at the end of 2012.

Trips continue growing, and Cuba benefits from that trend, since it is chosen by many people from several continents, due to adequate infrastructure, but mostly for well preserved landscapes, culture, traditions and a rich history, Cuban agency Prensa Latina said.
