Paris.- Cuba presents its investment offers to France, that includes priority areas in the agri-food sector, construction, tourism, renewable energy sources and sugar production.
Cuban Ambassador in France, Hector Igarza, said to news agency Prensa Latina that the business opportunities from Cuba looks for encourage foreign investment to support its economic development.
Igarza said advantages of the strategy, aimed at constructing a prosperous, sustainable Socialism, include a special fiscal regime and the country’s high skilled labor.
He highlighted the business opportunities with foreign capital provided by the Special Development Zone of Mariel, some 45 km east of Havana, which is set to become a major regional trade hub.
