There is little over a month for the start of the most influential MICE B2B trade show in America and The Caribbean. The 23rd edition of MITM Americas, to be held from the 14th to the 17th of October in Havana, Cuba. Offers a unique opportunity to experience the celebration of the 500 year anniversary of Havana where you will have the opportunity to meet with the most relevant international professionals of the MICE sector.
Charo Trabado, CEO of MITM Events, confrirms the success of the “MITM System”: “We are an authentic MICE B2B trade show, in which the number of buyers always exceeds that of exhibitors and appointments are pre-established. This system allows us to stay true to our motto “quality oriented trade shows”.
The previous experiences of participants is reflected in the numerous registrations for the 23rd edition of MITM Americas: “50 trade shows, held in 37 cities in 18 countries, throughout the last 23 years, precede us. In this edition, over 600 companies from 65 countries have registered. Of which, only the 100 companies with the highest business potential have been selected”.
Furthermore, Charo is betting in Cuba´s potential for this edition: “MICE Tourism requires a lot of variety in its offer, and lesser known destinations are the ones that attract the most attention. Furthermore, the MICE sector needs new infrastructures and is always on the lookout for a destination with a unique and emotional touch. Cuba allows to seamlessly weave work and networking”.
The event is sponsored by the Ministerio de Turismo de Cuba, Gran Caribe Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Nacional de Cuba (venue of the event), Cubatur (official receptive agency) and Iberia Líneas Aéreas. Caribbean tours will offer a unique activity for the MICE sector (Havana: 500 years of magic). As well as Melia Hoteles, Iberostar Hotels y Muthu Hotels (post-tour sponsors).
The demonstrable experience of MITM Events has made Fitur, once again, place their trust in a collaboration for the Mice section of Fitur, that will be held in Madrid from the 21 to the 23 of January 2020. The past edition, held in the frame of FITUR 2019, ended with a resounding success: The 57,1% of exhibitors valued the event as “excellent”, while 41% valued it as “very good”; demonstrating MITM Event´s and Fitur´s leadership in an industry that is seeing its best years. In 2018, Madrid became a benchmark as the best MICE destination in Spain. Last year the Spanish capital welcomed 165 international congresses, placing itself in the top 3 European cities: only behind Paris (212) and Vienna (172).
