CARICOM strategies to rebound from Covid-19

CARICOM heads agree to regional travel bubble in response to Covid19 challenges

CARICOM Ministers with responsibility for Trade and Economic Development have emphasised the need for the Community to develop robust strategies to respond to the impact COVID-19 has had on the Region’s economy.

The Ministers met 28 and 29 April for the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) under the Chairmanship of the Hon. Paula Gopee-Scoon, Minister of Trade and Industry of Trinidad and Tobago.

The impact of COVID-19 on Member States was one of the main agenda items of the Meeting.
