Ottawa.- Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance, CSTA, can now access the Government Tourism and Events division of REPUCOM, the world’s leading sport and events research company, to provide enhanced measurement metrics that will allow more effective analysis of major events.
“A cooperative relationship with REPUCOM represents a terrific strategic fit for us. After extensive diligence, we came to the conclusion that REPUCOM offers our members a cost effective solution for sport marketing research for events that have a domestic or international broadcast element. This data will complement the economic impact assessments that we are conducting in markets across Canada”, said Rick Traer, CSTA CEO.
With an office in Vancouver, REPUCOM will provide CSTA, which manages the growth of Canada’s fastest growing tourism segment, with market research, media evaluation and commercial auditing services.
According to REPUCOM’s Senior Vice President, Derek Mager, the partnership offers the company’s services in Canada a big opportunity while helping the tourism industry demonstrate greater rigor around the promotion and funding of major events.
