Madrid.- Air Europa expands its network this coming summer with four new routes to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Athens and Alghero, increasing its European destinations to 17.
The venture of Globalia’s air division into Scandinavia and Greece, as well as a larger presence in Italy, will begin in mid-June and will continue until mid-September.
Specifically, the airline company will fly from Madrid to both the Danish capital and the Swedish capital with three weekly flights respectively onboard its Airbus 330 fleet; whereas on Thursdays and Sundays, it will fly to Athens and Alghero.
With the launch of these four new routes, Air Europa substantially increases its European network and offers better flight choices for its passengers, who will also enjoy a perfect and fast connection with the rest of the airline’s transoceanic destinations via its hub in Madrid.
Its new destinations in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Athens are the airline’s debut in the respective countries; meanwhile, the company already operates in Italy, including flights to Rome, Milan and, for a little over a year, Venice.
