Santo Domingo.- The Marriott hotel brand will build a 200-room five-star hotel in one of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic capital.
The new hotel will be in the most important avenues, near the capital city's financial center. The US$200 million facility will feature two theme restaurants, a spa and gym, swimming pool, terraces, meeting rooms and a hair salon. The 15-story structure will be built on Winston Churchill Avenue.
The hotel is being developed by the Real Hotel & Resort Company, owned by Grupo Poma, a business corporation founded in 1919 and based in El Salvador. The group currently operates 29 hotels in 10 countries in Central and South America, and the Caribbean. (Source: Zoom. Dominican Today)
