St. Maarten's Tourism Minister to Address Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference

Philipsburg.- Organizers of the Caribbean Shipping Association's seventh annual Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference has secured St. Maarten's Tourism and Aviation Minister Harold Lovell to be among keynote speakers at the event. This is the second time he was asked to make a presentation at the Conference. The first time was in Barbados three years ago.
Disney Magic cruiseThe reason behind Lovell's inclusion on the list of speakers is that he is one of the main advocators for more inter regional cooperation on cruise matters. President of the Antigua and Barbuda Cruise Tourism Association (ABCTA) Nathan Dundas was appointed by Lovell to represent Antigua and Barbuda at an OECS Cruise meeting in Tortola to present a feasibility paper on improving the summer cruise market.
On attendance at the Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference would be 120 delegates that will hear presentations on trade development, trade blocs, trade pacts and treaties, incentives for development, finance and investment in the cruise industry and Caribbean Tourism.
