Barbuda first step towards developing its own 10 year tourism master plan
Hamilton.- The Head of the Barbuda Council Tourism Committee, Senator Mackenzie Frank, announced the Island will take the first step towards developing its own 10 year tourism master plan.As a two day tourism summit gets underway this month, Senator Mackenzie says the aim is to identify potential niche tourism markets.
The summit target stakeholders in the industry including owners and managers of K-Club, Coco Point, Lighthouse Bay Resort, Beach House; guesthouse owners, as well as water and land taxi proprietors.
Tourism is the second largest contributor to revenue on the sister isle. (Source: Cariseek)
