TTC Travel Trade Caribbean

San Juan.- With 42 properties in the Caribbean and Latin America development agenda, plus an existing portfolio of 51 hotels in the regions, Hilton Hotels Corporation has announced plans to set the company's total presence in the areas at more than 200 properties.
Hilton is said to have identified a number of strategic markets in destinations such as Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Turks & Caicos, the Lesser Antilles, and The Bahamas. Hilton's main goal in the Caribbean is to add focused-service hotels and develope luxury branded hotels and residences in high-end mixed-use developments.
Eight Hilton's properties are already under development in The Bahamas, Bonaire, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Providenciales, which will contribute to the company's plans of bringing an additional 17 hotels to the Caribbean over the next five years.
As for Central America, Hilton will add 23 properties to the current portfolio of seven hotels.
