Antigua & Barbuda Launched 2008/2009 Tourism Cadet Corps Internship Program
St John's.- With the motto, Journey To Distinction, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry welcomed a group of 40 secondary and college students who classified for the 2008/2009 Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Cadet Corps (ABTCC) program, according to A & B Government News."The Ministry of Tourism views this program as an integral part of the developmental stage, not only of our tourism human resources but also of our country's human resource development," said Sharon Peters, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.
The Program is a joint effort by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Tourism. Several hotels serve as hosts of the Tourism Cadet Corps.
