Celebrity Solstice to Begin Maiden Season with Calls on Caribbean Ports
Basseterre.- Following the ceremony to name Celebrity Cruises' Celebrity Solstice new ship on November 14, the ship will begin its maiden season with alternating 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruises roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, calling on San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, and Tortola during this Fall and Winter, confirmed the Communications Unit.
The 2,850-guest Celebrity Solstice departed the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, for Eemshaven, Netherlands. Following two separate sea trials planned before October 24, the ship will depart Eemshaven on a transatlantic voyage bound for Fort Lauderdale."As the first in a series of five Solstice-class ships, it's a vivid example of the growth and momentum of the Celebrity brand, and our commitment to meet our guests'
